By The Sea 04:31
Shingle, grass and rust. Power clear, resistance dust. Ground recedes, swallowed whole, waves take it all. Horizon of hope. Three-sailed flowers open up. Sky takes my wandering eye. I am hers. Current drags us all. Engines fight for now and land us 'safe', back at the start. Jewels jump from mud and caterpillars hide from the wind and rain. We all go home, and I leave my twin, by the sea. Current drags us all. Engines fight for now and land us 'safe', back at the start. Tied up to floats, Not yet sinking, broken boats. We all go home, and I leave my twin, by the sea.

Left Behind 04:03
dreams long smashed, buried in a fog of years all too heartbreaking to think about what might have been bodies wrecked, hands shake with a need give away the hidden depths to which the once-bright can sink to be caught in the limestone walls in the grey mist of skies to be caught where there's seldom light for the left-behind to know of more ways to trick and cheat yet know of no strength to reach escape velocity what a waste, thinking clouded clear air thickened to soup, clear roads fault-lined and slipped to be caught in the limestone walls in the grey mist of skies to be caught where there's seldom light for the left-behind landslide kinder, an instant release instead of slow gather of sediments around the feet for those of us who escape the madness a new madness of those we leave behind so much resignation and tiredness feel it coming in to you

Up and down, yo-yo style. String goes slack. Pulled along, thinnest thread, nearly gone. Patch us up, plug the holes, bail us out. Before the dawn, dark of night, but sun is found. Because love will win, every time. Love will win, given time. Lifted up, get so high, bound to fall. Let it go or take a hold, we're always fighting. Want the best for everyone, where does it lie? Before the dawn, dark of night, sun will rise. Because love will win, every time. Love will win, given time.

Is it cold where you are does it slow your bones like it slows mine? Is it cold in your heart do you feel a chill and smash mirrors apart? Fine days are these where miles are many that keep us away from facing the blood. Fine days made real by ourselves then cast off as any clothes without care, drifting clothes in the flood. Ghosts are all over do you see them too where you wake every day where they follow you? To me they are real and giants of worlds of disbelief and reason unheard. Fine days are these where miles are many that keep us away from facing the blood. Fine days made real by ourselves then cast off as any clothes without care, drifting clothes in the flood... To me they are real and giants of worlds of reason unheard.
